Excluding Fixed Fee Time Entries from Invoice Breakdowns
Linking time entries to your invoice lines gives more accurate visibility into revenue, margin, and budget burn. For fixed fee projects, though, your clients don't always need or expect to see a full hourly breakdown.
Now you have the option to exclude time entries from invoice breakdowns.
Any time entries linked to invoice lines with the billing method Forecast or Manual (amount) will be left out when the invoice breakdown is downloaded or emailed.
Bulk Inline Editing for Timecodes in Budgets List
You can now bulk inline edit timecode fields directly from the Budgets list, speeding up updates without opening each item.
This update aims to improve efficiency and consistency when managing large budgets and multiple timecodes!

eInvoicing is gaining traction across several markets, and we're exploring what that means for firms using Projectworks. In New Zealand in particular, large government suppliers are required to submit eInvoices from the start of 2027 so we want to understand how it would affect your workflow and what you'd need from a solution.
Regardless of whether you're in New Zealand, if you'd like to share feedback on eInvoicing and your firm, or get early access once it's available, fill out this short form.

Your Best Proposal Content? It's Hiding
Most professional services firms have more good content than they realise. The problem isn't that it doesn't exist, it’s that it lives in different, unconnected places and no one has full visibility over it. When a new RFP lands, you feel the pain immediately. Someone opens the last similar proposal and starts copying from it. Someone else messages a colleague for the right case study. By the time the first draft is circulating, the team has spent their most focused hours on logistics that should have been solved before the bid started.
