Projectworks Product Update: November 2025

We’re entering the holiday season, but we’re still hard at work pushing out new features in Projectworks so you can start 2026 ready to crush your projects, margin, and growth goals. We focused on integration improvements in December, with the additional bonus of a totally refreshed user interface - clean, consistent, and modern, so you can manage your projects even more smoothly.
Our New Look: Staying on Track As the Leading PSA Software
You will have noticed that Projectworks looks a little different recently.

In November, we rolled out a fresh user interface, with a new navigation menu, updated settings location, and refreshed colors and fonts. There have been no workflow changes. Just a smoother, more intuitive experience that keeps Projectworks at the forefront of PSA tools for professional services firms.

Enhancing Our Employment Hero HR Integration
Multiple Projectworks users pointed out that our Employment Hero integration didn't capture part-days of leave.
We heard you, and we worked with Employment Hero to enhance our integration so that now you can sync hours (part-days), as well as full days, across from Employment Hero into Projectworks. This means our integration supports you fully, saving time on double-entry and making sure you're not letting any leave fall through the cracks.

Making Our QuickBooks Online Integration Even Stronger with Classes
Our QuickBooks Online integration already enables you to sync invoices, expenses, and purchase orders, but now you can also configure "Classes" so that they appear on these invoice lines, expenses, and purchase orders.
This removes the need to manually set the class information in QuickBooks after export, saving you time and eliminating yet another one of those fiddly tasks that soaks up billable hours.
Adding Extra Support For In-App Questions
Finally, we've added a new chatbot in-app so that you can ask any support questions you have in the moment. Our fantastic Customer Success Team is still on-hand if you'd like to speak to a human - this addition will just save you time getting answers to quick questions that can be resolved in a couple of minutes.
You can access the new chatbot by selecting the "Help" icon on the top right in the Projectworks platform.

You Might Have Missed This Feature: Cloning Projects
This feature isn't really hidden - but you might not know about it.
Cloning a project is a quick way to create a new project with a standard set of budget lines and timecodes, all ready to go.
By cloning projects, you can also create reusable templates for future work.
