Projectworks launches new, flexible pricing model

Projectworks is launching a new, more flexible pricing model designed to give users greater control over their subscription. The new structure includes three tailored plans: Build, Scale, and Unleash - each created to better align with unique service firms' business needs and growth trajectory.
The new pricing plans will come into effect for new customers from 1 June 2025.

How do I get onto a new plan when renewing?
Ahead of your next renewal, you will have the appropriate plan recommended to you based on your feature usage. If you don’t reach out to discuss, you’ll automatically roll onto that plan at renewal time.
Why are prices changing?
Customer feedback
Users have asked us before about paying only for the Projectworks features they use, rather than all of the features in the platform. Our new tiered pricing plans are our way of meeting this need for cost-efficiency.
Legacy pricing
We haven’t increased our prices at Projectworks since we first set them at the start of 2023, despite releasing new features monthly during that time. The Projectworks product is very different to what was on offer in 2023, and we’re adjusting pricing accordingly.
Increased flexibility
Previously, we offered a single price for Projectworks, no matter which features you used. Although this pricing model was simple, it lacked flexibility. With our new multi-tier pricing, you can choose the plan that suits you and your unique company the best - and only pay for what you use!

New features
With 15,000+ consultants using Projectworks worldwide, we’ve helped consultants improve the world materially, socially, and economically. On average, customers grow their business by 20% in their first year of using Projectworks.
We're proud to continually release new features in Projectworks. In the last 12 months, we’ve launched:
- Purchase orders
- Custom field enhancements
- Auto-sync between Projectworks and Xero or QuickBooks
- Timesheet reminders
- Copy previous timesheets
- Audit records
- One-click timesheets
Our momentum will continue into the future, with multiple significant releases on the near horizon:
- Employment Hero integration
- Custom reporting
- Project Budget and Pricing upgrade

Which plan is right for me?
We recommend the Scale plan for most customers. This allows you to quote new projects, integrate with your favourite business tools, get started with customization, and collaborate across offices.
If you want unlimited flexibility, the Unleash plan means you can tailor your workflows with unlimited custom fields and custom reports, connect to other business tools via the Projectworks API, and receive premium support. If you operate multiple businesses under one umbrella, you can use the Xero multi-entity feature to connect multiple Xero instances to your Projectworks account.
Are there discounts available?
If you decide to pay annually, rather than monthly, you’ll receive a 10% discount on your subscription.
When will I need to move to the new plan?
All existing Projectworks customers will automatically move to the most appropriate (based on feature use) tier of the new pricing plan at their renewal date. You'll receive a heads-up email about the change well in advance.
All new Projectworks customers who sign up after June 1 2025 will need to choose a tier of the new pricing plan.
Do I need to do anything to move to the new plan?
No. We’ll email you before renewal and you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your renewal plan.
Have onboarding costs changed?
Onboarding is an additional, one-time cost for new customers. It covers data migration and training. The fee varies depending on the size of your organization and the complexity of the data migration. If you are an existing Projectworks customer, there will be no onboarding cost at renewal.
