Promotional Marketing Case Studies

We have worked with a variety of teams at National Geographic Channel (NGC) over the years on both marketing support services and promotional marketing assignments.

For several years, we helped NGC's Ad Sales Marketing team come up with innovative and cool VIP gifts for their advertising sales upfront initiatives.  One year we helped them source and custom brand video iPods.  We also compressed their Upfront Ad Sales video presentation and uploaded it to each of the devices.Finally, we repackaged each device into its original packaging, and added festive packaging branding touches to each device. Another year, we did something similar with the original Flip video camcorders.  Both items turned out very nice, and were received positively by the intended target audience.

Our role included the following:

  • Consulting with the client about marketing objectives, target audience, budgets, etc.
  • Research and propose promotional products suitable for the upscale, highly discerning audience.
  • Source and custom-brand the selected promotional items
  • Source gift packaging branding elements and repackage each gift item
  • Storage and inventory management of the promotional items, Upfront kit literature and completed Upfront print kits
  • Distribute the gifts and kits to NGC Ad Sales Offices
